Abuse ???. Some stuff that has happened since Mel was killed.or is it what we deserve for being travellers???

Told police wife was killed. 

Result. Silence 

Drug raped twice ( reported it the police . No response 

Attacked by fisherman down at Culkein Drumbeg.

( We knew him for years. I simply asked him after a visit. When he left our home. " Please don't go on about how much you hate the English).

He attacked me. With a tin of paint.

Result 

Concussion for 10 days.

Result after speaking up. Silence.

Attacked twice by a guy down the road. Second time there was a witness.

Police arrived.

Result, nothing. They convinced me not to press charges. I then phoned them up and told them I had changed my mind.

Got a phone call to say they would call back.

That was weeks ago.

Result Silence.

A few other things have happened but can't be bothered writing anymore.

Travellers justice. Does not exist.

Then we're told shut up. Or move on..

Fuck that we say. We will speak out louder.

Note: said to an abuser that called today ( long story). at 18 I was on guard duty at a base in Germany called Fallingbostle. what were you doing?. told them to **** ***. result happiness. I/we've earned it ?.

So let us get this right, you voted for us to get lost. we did. now you watch as Care homes closing, NHS struggling because they are short off staff. we'll get off your arse and wipe people's arses. love n light. the dafthermits had had enough. now we take care off ourselves, we've earned the right.

Mel worked in nursing/care homes all over the UK. At 20. Proof can be shown.

Anyway. We met wonderful people/staff from all over the world. After they heard the vote. They left. So sad on so many levels.

But we have many friends from right across the globe. United in wiping other people's arses. Only to be told to fuck off.

The thing that I struggle with some times. But again we learnt a valuable lesson. When we needed help.

A few weeks before Mel died.

I had to beg on my knees for help at both Lochinver and Ullapool Dr Surgeries.

Mel's request. We know it was asking a lot.

" Can my husband Andy cross the carpark to get my prescription/drugs. Morphine etc.

Her answer.

" But I can't get out off bed"

Perfect example.

Not long ago I got out off my warm cosy bed. Went to check these guys were ok.spent and hour helping them. In -7 got muddy. 

A couple ( long story).

To get to the point.

I/we don't expect anything when I/we help. A wee thanks would be nice.

Instead.

I/we get told where we are going wrong.

Our home is shit.

Our thoughts are wrong.

Aye, people wonder why we no longer stand for abuse. Turn round and silently run back to bed. 

Been a another stunning day. 

Looking forward to heading off in our wee boats next week. A week at least.

The couple were rescued ( another story). Eh Allen (a friend from URS. ).
